Trees come in all shapes and sizes just like women. Our Society cuts, trims, decorates, and shapes its trees, just like it tries to do with women. Real trees like real women possess natural beauty as well as natural “flaws”.

The visual images presented in the media are flawless in every way, and for many women these images tell us what we should look like and that our bodies aren’t good enough, which makes the struggle for body acceptance and self confidence ever harder to achieve.

Though damaged by its surrounding environment of ugly and depressing chaos and the daily pressures that women go through, my tree stands strong and proud forever growing and changing.
