Museum-To-Go is a collaboration between CSUMB and the Monterey Museum of Art. Gay Heller wrote an inclusive art education program that combines the Visual and Public Art Department's philosophy with the Monterey Museum of Art's permanent collection images. Through art children are able to make diverse connections on a historical and global level. Museum-To-Go was implemented with fifth grade students at Forest Grove Elementary School. Inspiration to Interpretation is an exhibition of the created art. Curated by Lauren Clark, through careful selection and display, the exhibition celebrates the creativity of the youth of the central coast. The display of this art in public space allows the community to see the capability of all children to be artists and how they are able to realize their visual voices.
