Downwind    Danay Wilson
Drawn and painted in full color, "Downwind" is a comic strip retelling of the Atomic Age, one of the most destructive periods of the 20th century. It is a story of two brothers, California and Nevada, who share a problem: where to store the nation's nuclear waste. Viewers will witness how the two cope with the destructive and harmful aftermath of the nuclear bomb testings in Nevada in the 1950s and ‘60s. Both states confront their fears once they learn that Nevada's Yucca Mountain is the proposed site for nuclear waste burial for a not-too-distant future.
