| Imagine round
paintings that turn 360 degrees and have the power to affect and be
affected. My triptych engages the connection between art and viewer
not only on a visual level, but on unconscious, emotional and physical
levels as well. The paintings are made to have the power to transform
the viewer and artist when each is turned 360 degrees. The paintings illustrate duality through human gesture, contrasting colors and nuances seen through the eyes of the artist. Supination of hands, and the human form are used in conjunction with light and dark, hardness and softness, design and symbolism. |
