| Self Portraits Natalie Daniels | |
This project gives us a closer
look at some elementary school children in the Monterey area. I helped
fourth- and fifth-grade students understand more about themselves as
they created mixed media self-portraits. I used self-portraits as an
apparatus to enhance the children’s recognition of diversity as
strength. Through this teaching experience, I also gained further perspective
on myself as a future teacher as I have progressed from elementary school
to a graduating senior. |
