Protectors of People?    Kris Charling
Protectors of People? is a multimedia sculpture, which is intended to allow the audience to recognize, ponder and explore the role of possible protectors in their lives. The sculpture is a manifestation of complex views on this subject and promotes the recognition of ideas previously rendered undiscovered. “Protectors of People?” allows diverse and multifaceted thoughts to reside in symbolic designs; it’s a device that guides the viewer on a quest toward critical analysis of symbols and protectors in their lives. In the end, the viewers must immerse themselves in the abundant questions this piece conjures to allow the meaning to emerge and the sculpture to be defined.
