Community Empowerment through Love and Appreciation is a series of photographs documenting the impact that the staff at Dorothy's Place has on their community. Dorothy’s Place is a non-profit, volunteer run organization that serves the community of Salinas by offering programs such as Dorothy’s Kitchen, Women Alive!, Youth Alive!, Dorothy’s Place Healthcare Clinic, Peter Maurin Work Co-op, and much more.
